Welcome to my farm management website!
I’m a farm management Extension professor at Kansas State University. This site is a collection of ideas and papers I’ve developed in support of farm management. My main areas of focus are farm management, agricultural finance, and risk management. I grew up on a grain and beef farm in southern Illinois and feel very strongly that agriculture is one of the strengths of our country. Farming to me defines agriculture. As such, much of my research and Extension activities are focused at the farm level.
